Five of the top 10 players in the world will be in the RBC Heritage final field at Harbor Town Golf Links in Hilton Head next week.

The highest-ranked player in the field is number 3 Collin Morikawa, who was tied for 9th in the second round of the Masters on Friday.

Also competing are No. 5 Patrick Cantlay, No. 6 Cameron Smith, No. 7 Justin Thomas and Columbia-native No. 8 Dustin Johnson.

Other notables are defending champion Stewart Cink, Davis Love III, Ian Poulter, Charl Schwartzel, Jordan Spieth, Harold Varner III, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell, Webb Simpson and Brandt Snedeker, Abraham Ancer, Daniel Berger, Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood.

Players with South Carolina ties in the tournament include Columbia’s Wesley Bryan, Aiken native Kevin Kisner, North Augusta-raised Matthew NeSmith and Greenville’s Lucas Glover.

The first round of the PGA TOUR event is Thursday, but preliminary events begin Monday.

The PGA Tour announced the final field for the RBC Heritage by Boeing late Friday afternoon.
