Jerry entered this life on November 19, 1963 in Dickson County. He was a devoted family man. A devoted father and faithful husband, he loved to be with his family and be there for his boys. Whether it was supporting them in the school sports they played in or shooting the high school JROTC competitions trailer, Jerry loved every minute of it. He also liked to meet his best friends at Paul & Jackie’s for a moment of conviviality and food. Jerry has owned and operated Queen City Asphalt for 32 years. Jerry was a fun loving guy who always had a comeback for anything you said. He will be sorely missed.

He was predeceased by his parents, June and Raymond Herald. Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 40 years, Lisa Wall Harrell; sons, Stephen (Courtney) Harrell and Carlton Harrell; brothers, Jimmy Herald and Johnny (Jackie) Herald; grandson, Remy Harrell; and two nieces and a nephew.

The carriers are Michael Waters, Steve Keese, Jeremy Broome, Trey Johnson, James Beck, Billy Beck, Keven Schmidt, Clint Welker and Jason Groves.
