The Board of Selectmen would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who helped Greenville celebrate its 150th anniversary. Many thanks to the members of the 150th Committee for their time and dedication in planning and executing this very special day.

Special thanks to: Gimak Properties, LLC, for using their Barton’s Ridge property to stage the parade; all float builders, marchers, marching bands and organizations who participated in the parade and/or Town Field activities; the municipal departments that organized this event, in particular Greenville Fire and the Temple-Greenville Police Department; Marshall Buttrick of the Greenville Historical Society for exhibiting and displaying the city’s artifacts and the Chamberlin Free Public Library for hosting this event; JPI Pyrotechnics for their incredible fireworks display; Arthur Pelletier and Brookwood Ecology Center for their monetary donations supporting the celebration; and finally, to all the residents, neighbors and friends who came out to enjoy the festivities.

Thank you and see you in 25 years!

Tara Sousa, municipal administrator

On behalf of the Greenville Board of Selectmen
