New Studio B exhibition “Flora and Fauna” with virtual in-person opportunities

Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A East Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown, PA, announces the opening of “Flora and Fauna” – an art exhibit on the theme of the Earth, the ecosystem and all life that lives within it finds – January 28, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition is sponsored thanks to the generosity of Suzanne Biesecker through the Effenesse Foundation and runs until April 17, 2022.

The art of Mother Nature and all expressions of the planet – of home, life, health, politics, race, religion, environment, gender, food , industry, landscape or anything in the universe – are open to interpretation by artists. Art in all mediums, from oil, pencil and watercolor to clay, glass and fiber, will be represented. This annual exhibition celebrating the environment features dozens of local artists and offers a range of styles.

A virtual tour and awards ceremony will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Facebook LIVE and archived as a Facebook event and on YouTube after the opening. Amy Muzopappa of Muzo Media Productions hosts the art tour.

Karen Palcho, artist, educator, gardener and fermenter, is the juror who selects the prizes for the exhibition. His interests are rooted in transforming raw materials and earth-based plants into beautiful, tasty and useful things. She founded Karen’s Botanicals Natural Skin and Body Care Products and is co-owner of Nu-Art Graphics-Industrial Screen Printing and Die Cutting, located in West Chester, PA.

Several awards are sponsored in memory of patrons and artists that Studio B has recently lost: Nancy Boyer, Mary Lou Haddad, Bob Misko, Bonnie Wren and Ineke van Werkhoven.
