POLAND – Patricia A. (Adams) Nash, 87, died Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Hospice House in Auburn, with her loving family by her side. She was born February 28, 1935 in Waterville, Maine, the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (farmer) Adams.Patricia was loved for her continued dedication, time and talent to making Poland, Maine a better place. community. She served the community in Poland in many capacities. She was an original member of the Poland Rescue. His leadership positions in the community included that of health worker for over 40 years; dispatcher for 14 years; member of the Board of Selectmen for nine years; and rescue leader for eight years. Other community involvements include serving on the board of numerous committees, including the Recreational Land Use Advisory Committee; Budget, charter study, zoning update, municipal building study, old school restoration, emergency services study and overall planning. The Poland Spring Preservation Society Board of Directors named her Honorary Director for her unwavering support of their mission. She was also president of Life Springs, a group of volunteers who provide services to seniors. Patricia worked as an emergency room nurse for many years. She was predeceased by her loving parents Joseph and Beatrice Adams, her devoted husband W. Ballard Nash Sr. and her brothers, Ken Adams and Donald Adams. She is survived by her loving children. Daughter Karen Renard (David Tasaka) sons W. Ballard Nash Jr. (Luvon) and Michael Nash (Cheryl). Grandchildren Gina Anderson (Tim Anderson), Ethan Nash (Katerina Howland), Zachary Nash and brother Joseph Adams Jr. In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Poland Spring All Souls Chapel . , 37 Preservation Way, Poland at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
