Open day for the justice center
North Little Rock will host an open house for its new justice center on December 9, Mayor Terry Hartwick said.
The opening of the center, which will house the headquarters of the North Little Rock Police Department, has been postponed due to construction delays.
The new police headquarters, funded by a voter-approved sales tax increase, will be located in blocks 2600 and 2700 of Poplar Street.
Concert with pop singer Styles
International pop star and actor Harry Styles will perform at Simmons Bank Arena on November 24 as part of his “Love on Tour 2021” tour.
Styles, a former member of the boy band One Direction, will perform songs from his album “Fine Line”.
Fans wishing to attend will need to show proof of vaccination to access the site.
Styles, a Grammy-winning singer and songwriter, also starred in the historic 2017 epic “Dunkirk” directed by Christopher Nolan.
Participants in the Christmas parade are wanted
North Little Rock will be holding its Christmas Parade on December 2nd.
The theme of the parade will be “A Family Christmasâ€. Those wishing to participate can complete a form and return it to the North Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau by November 29th. Entrances to the parade must be costumed or decorated.
Clubs, churches, businesses, schools and organizations are encouraged to participate in the parade.
